Fairlife has introduced Smart Snacks, a snack-sized ultra-filtered milk, honey, and oat drink. They are meant to be enjoyed between meals. With 15 grams of protein and 11 grams of sugar, they provide 50% more protein and 50% less sugar than regular milk. The strawberry bananamilk became available in Whole Foods and Albertsons-Safeway stores in October and contains only 70 calories per serving with substantial levels of potassium, calcium, and vitamin C. Strawberry bananamilk joins the existing lineup of organic almondmilk, vanilla bean almondmilk, original bananamilk and chocolate bananamilk and hopes to capture the growing trend of folks (even traditional dairy drinkers) who are seeking plant-based product substitutes. There’s some Cider in your Cheese
Pairing apples and cheese may bring the nostalgia of that perfect after-school snack, but the collaboration of Angry Orchard and Crown Finish Caves may still seem a bit unexpected. The two companies have teamed up to create a rose cider-washed cheese called Amour from Walden.
