2020 has come to a close – thank God! We saw a plethora of terrific and buzz-worthy new products launched in December to wrap up our dumpster fire of a year. We saw everything from a nostalgic throwback like the 3D Doritos to the beloved Cinnabon frosting for sale. Take a look at these interesting stocking stuffers and products that spiced up your December’s social distanced Holiday celebrations.

Doritos 3D chips were launched in 1998 and discontinued in the early 2000s. These chips were a puffed three-dimension chip coated with delicious seasoning. However, due to overwhelming consumer demand for this product, Doritos brought back this chip with a little bit of a twist, it now comes with an extra crunch. This nostalgic offering will allow consumers to escape back to a pandemic free world. Offered in both Spicy Ranch and Chili Cheese Nacho.

If any of you are in the same boat as me, COVID has not been kind to my waistline. Yes, I am going to blame the pandemic for me not turning down chocolate or wine for an entire year. To make matters worse, Cinnabon decided to start selling their signature cream cheese frosting. They partnered together with Freeform 25 days of Christmas, for those of you who also like to binge watch Elf throughout the entire month of December. Now you can watch your holiday favorites while eating frosting by the pint full, or be more tasteful and pair with your homemade cinnamon rolls.

For those of you gamers out there, you are well aware of the launch of PlayStation 5 and the XBox Series X. For those of you that have not sold your soul to video games yet, they are new gaming systems that are STILL sold out and were one of the hottest gifts this Christmas. Philadelphia played off this excitement and hype to offer their own “Series5,” no this is not a next-gen gaming console, but it is a delicious baking kit to help you make the most delicious cheesecake for your holiday gathers.

OK OK, these are not brand new to the market, they were launched in October, but they did become famous because of Trevor Noah this holiday season. Your holiday season probably would not have been complete without these winter seltzers. Seltzers have been incredibly popular for the past three years, and that craze does not seem to be dissipating any time soon. However, Bud Light decided to add a winter twist on these favorites. Offering flavors like cranberry, apple crisp, gingersnap, and peppermint patty to answered consumers’ requests for winter seltzers last year when social media blew up with requests asking for “Santa Claw’s.”

Skrewball, the ever-popular peanut butter whisky brand that brought a lot of attention in the past year to flavored whiskeys partnered with Sprinkles cupcakes. They created a very fun and delicious peanut butter whisky cupcake to end the year on a very positive note. Please note, these do have a hint of alcohol in the cupcakes, making this product only for those 21+.

We will see you in 2021, let’s hope it is better than the last year!
